Job Details

ECE is an environmental consulting firm supporting industrial clients nationwide with environmental reporting, permitting, auditing, and compliance strategy. We’re seeking a Junior Environmental Consultant who is motivated, detail-oriented, and ready to grow alongside our expert team.

You’ll assist in preparing regulatory reports, conducting site inspections, reviewing permit requirements, and managing client documentation. This is a great opportunity to build hands-on experience in environmental compliance and contribute to meaningful client outcomes.

What we expect:

  • A foundational understanding of environmental regulations (e.g., EPA, state-specific programs).
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • A team-first mindset with initiative to ask questions and solve problems.
  • Familiarity with tools like Excel, Google Workspace, and basic GIS or reporting software is a plus.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the preparation of Tier II, TRI Form R, SWPPP, SPCC, and air permit documents.
  • Reviewing client data and identifying potential reporting thresholds.
  • Helping maintain compliance tracking tools.
  • Participating in site audits and inspections under the supervision of senior staff.
  • Communicating with clients and agencies as needed.
